Reach for the stars with Sky Archer pose which combines a strong Triangle Pose pose with a rejuvenating side-body stretch to release tension.

There's nothing better in the winter months than cuddling up on the sofa with your favourite treat and a Christmas movie.

But whilst getting all snug in front of the fire feels the natural thing to do during the winter months. It can contribute towards our body feeling a little stiff during the festive season.

This energy boosting shape its perfect for relieving any feeling of tightness as it stretches the whole body from the hamstrings to the torso to the arms.

How to:

Make a star shape with your arms and legs.

Turn the right foot outward keeping it at 90 degrees and bring the left foot inwards at 45 degrees.

Inhale and raise the arms upward locking the hands at the wrist with your left hand at the right wrist.

Exhale completely and looking up stretch the torso in Sky Archer Pose (imagine reaching for a wintery start sky)

Keep the legs straight and stretch the arms above to open through the chest, diaphragm and the shoulders.

Stay for minimum 3 breaths or as long as feels good and repeat soon the other side.
